RESOLUTION COMEX 2/99

VOTE OF THE PRIMITIVE BUDGET FOR THE 2000 BUDGETARY YEAR

THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY,

IN VIEW of the contributions that remained to be paid at the end of 1998,,

IN VIEW of the draft primitive budget for the 2000 budgetary year,

IN VIEW of the four hypotheses of Member States' contributions for the 2000 budgetary year presented by the Director General, upon request of the Executive Committee of March 12, 1999

APPROVES the primitive budget for the 2000 budgetary year corresponding to hypothesis C for a total amount of 9.291.230,00 French Francs, the amount of the contribution unit of the Member States being 72.590,00 French Francs.

URGENTLY REQUESTS Member States that are late in the payment of their financial contribution to discharge their debt as soon as possible or, if need be, propose modes of payments duly justified by specific difficulties which they may temporarily encounter.

MANDATES the Executive Committee to take all necessary steps in order to obtain the required financial regularization.
