RESOLUTION AGE 5/2004

THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE INTERNATIONAL VINE AND WINE OFFICE,

WHEREAS Article 5 paragraph 5 of the Agreement of 3 April 2001 describes in detail the conditions for appointing a financial auditor on the joint proposal of the Director General and the Steering Committee of the International Vine and Wine Office, with the favourable opinion of the Executive Committee,

ASCERTAINING the impossibility of fulfilling the above conditions precedent to the appointment of a financial auditor for the first General Assembly of the International Organisation of Vine and Wine,

DECIDES to recommend by consensus to the Inaugural General Assembly of the International Organisation of Vine and Wine the following draft resolution for adoption by consensus:

The General Assembly of the International Organisation of Vine and Wine during its first meeting,

WHEREAS Article 5 paragraph 5 of the Agreement of 3 April 2001 describes in detail the conditions for appointing a financial auditor on the joint proposal of the Director General and the Steering Committee of the International Vine and Wine Office, with the favourable opinion of the Executive Committee,

ASCERTAINING the impossibility of fulfilling the conditions precedent to the appointment of a financial auditor for the first General Assembly of the International Organisation of Vine and Wine,

DECIDES to appoint the present registered Auditor of the International Vine and Wine Office as financial auditor of the International Organisation of Vine and Wine until 31 December 2005.
