TREATMENT OF WINE USING YEAST MANNOPROTEINS
THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY
CONSIDERING Article 2, paragraph 2 ii of the Agreement of 3 April 2004 establishing the International Organisation of Vine and Wine
HAVING CONSIDERED the work of the « Wine Technology » experts group,
DECIDES:
ON THE PROPOSAL of Commission II « Oenology » to modify in the aforementioned International Code of Oenological Practices, the sheet 3.3.13 – Treatment of wine using yeast mannoproteins

Sheet 3.3.13
Under the definition
- The indication "whites" is deleted
Under the heading "Objectives"
- The indication "and its proteins" is replaced by the indication « and/or its proteins in the case of white or rosé wines»
Under the heading "Prescriptions"

Add prescription b:
- for certain young red and rosé wines the person in charge of the treatment should consider a pre-treatment using yeast cell walls if the mannoproteins alone do not present the sought after efficiency.
- The last prescription is numbered c)
