WINE, HEART AND BALANCED DIET: FACTORS TO BE TAKEN INTO ACCOUNT

THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY,

ON THE PROPOSAL of the Sub-Commission "Nutrition and Health" taking into account the works of the Expert Group "Nutrition and Wine",

CONSIDERING the current state of knowledge,

CONSIDERING the effect of alcohol consumption and particularly wine, on the cardio-vascular system in the context of a balanced diet,

INVITES the Member States of the O.I.V. to take into account these facts when formulating their public health policies.
