COMPENDIUM OF MAXIMUM LIMITS OF RESIDUES OF VINE TREATMENT PRODUCTS IN GRAPES DURING HARVEST

THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY,

IN VIEW OF Article 2, paragraph 2 iv of the Agreement of 3 April 2001 establishing the International Organisation of Vine and Wine,

Based on the works of the former Expert groups “Table grapes and raisins” and “Diseases, pests and vine protection” and on the proposal of the Sub-commission “Table grapes, raisins and unfermented vine products” and the expert group “Vine protection”,

DECIDES to draw up a document to be published entitled “Maximum permissible limits for residues of vine treatment products in grapes for OIV member states” in view of its publishing,

REQUESTS that each member state of the OIV shall provide a list of phytosanitary vine products and the official maximum limits for residues of treatment products permissible for grapes, and where relevant taking into account their destination in addition to their periodical update.

DECIDES that these notifications shall be posted on the OIV web site and completed by information from other competent bodies. 

RECOMMENDS pursuing this work in view of harmonising these limits in accordance with the Agreement of 3 April 2001.
