RESOLUTION AGE 7/2007

COMPOSITION OF THE SCIENTIFIC AND TECHNICAL COMMITTEE

THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE INTERNATIONAL ORGANISATION OF VINE AND WINE,

CONSIDERING the interest to ensure continuity of action and to still avail ourselves of the experience of the former Presidents of the OIV,

IN VIEW of article 8.2 of Title I « General provisions » of the Internal Rules related to the composition of the Scientific and Technical Committee,

DECIDES, by consensus, to modify Title I « General provisions » of the Internal Rules as follows:

Article 8.2 of Title I « General provisions » of the Internal Rules shall be replaced by the following text:

8.2 – The Scientific and Technical Committee is made up of:

1. The President of the O.I.V, President of the Scientific and Technical Committee;
2. The first Vice-President of the OIV
3. A Vice-President appointed among the members of the Scientific and Technical Committee in accordance with the provisions set out in Article 8.9;
4. The Presidents of the Commissions, Sub-Commissions and groups of experts;
5. The Vice-Presidents of the Commissions and Sub-Commissions;
6. The Scientific secretaries of the Commissions and Sub-Commissions;
7. Two qualified persons, whether they are citizens or not of O.I.V Member States, appointed by the President for his or her term of office, together with the two Vice-Presidents of the O.I.V.
8. The former Presidents of the OIV provided that their status as delegate or expert is maintained.

The persons mentioned in g) and h), however, may act only in advisory capacity and are not eligible for the position of Vice-President of the Scientific and Technical Committee.
