ANALYSIS AND COMPARISON OF TRAINING PROGRAMMES WITH DIPLOMAS FOR VINE AND WINE PROFESSIONALS

THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY, upon the proposal by Commission III “Economy”, based on the works of the “Training” Experts Group,

CONSIDERING the resolution OENO 2/91 in relation to the training of oenologists,

CONSIDERING the resolution OENO 1/99 that highlights the need for international harmonisation and recognition of educational programmes,

CONSIDERING that it is important to promote international educational exchanges, in accordance with the topics of priority work in the Strategic Plan 2005-2008,

CONSIDERING that these exchanges are defined by the different levels of education and their equivalences,

ASKS

The “Training” experts group, in order to facilitate exchanges, to analyse and compare training programmes.

For this, the group may, in particular, call upon experts from the training sector or vitivinicultural professionals.

This work of analysis and comparison will enable the definition of objective criteria, so as to help those who ask, to facilitate exchanges by a process of searching for equivalences between training programmes.
