INFORMATIVE DIRECTORY OF MAXIMUM LIMITS OF RESIDUES OF VINE TREATMENT PRODUCTS IN WINES

THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY,

IN VIEW of Article 2 paragraph iv of the Agreement of 3 April 2001 establishing the International Organisation of Vine and Wine

UPON THE PROPOSAL by the Sub-Commission on the Convention of the Unification of Methods of Analysis and Appraisal of Wines,

DECIDES to create, for information purposes,  a directory of maximum limits of residues of vine treatment products in wines which have been adopted by different states or other intergovernmental organisations, notably the Codex Alimentarius.

REQUESTS that each member state provide the OIV secretariat with the maximum limits of residues of vine treatment products in wines which have been  adopted and, if necessary, the updates. These notifications shall be published in a directory and disseminated by the most appropriate means.
