Fixed Acidity (Type-I)

Type I method

 

  1. Principle

The fixed acidity is calculated from the difference between total acidity and volatile acidity.

  1. Expression of results

The fixed acidity is expressed in:

  • milliequivalents per liter.
  • grams of sulfuric acid per liter.
  • grams of tartaric acid per liter.
