CONSIDERING that information on its pharmacological actions is insufficient and that the relationship between biogenic amines content in wines and the occurrence of the aforementioned food sensitizations is not sufficiently established from a scientific point of view,
ASKS the Member States to gather maximum data on this subject and encourage pharmacological and toxicological research on biogenic amines.
ASKS the expert group « Wine microbiology » and « Wine technology » to study, if need be, the means to be implemented to reduce biogenic amines in wines.
